We value the involvement of every member of the community and want all to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. All participants at NCSEA’s events are expected to be considerate and collaborative, communicating openly with respect for others, and critiquing ideas rather than individuals. Getting Connected FAQ


How do I join on the morning of the event?

  • Go to and sign in if you aren't already.
  • You should have received an email from SlideSpiel with your login information, this would be the email address you registered with and a password setup unique to your account.
  • If you don't know your password, please click here and then click "Forgot Password?".


Do I need to download anything to view the event on my mobile device?

You will not need to download an application to view the event on your mobile device.  Click here to run a diagnostic test on your device. (This is highly recommended) 

What are the minimum requirements from my computer that I will need to participate?

The Summit platform works best in the Chrome web browser (download here).  Click here to run a diagnostic test on your device. (This is highly recommended) 




Education FAQ


If I attend one session, will I have access to the other one at the same time later? How? 

Yes! All attendees will have access to all session recordings on-demand through December 31.  

How will I access the bonus content? Is it on-demand too? 

Bonus content will be held on November 10, 17, and 24, and will be accessed through the same link as the live event. The schedule of Bonus Content can be found here. The Bonus Content sessions will also be available on-demand after the live streaming. 

How many PDHs can I get? 

Attendees can earn up to 26 Professional Development Hours after viewing the live presentations and the recorded sessions. 

How do I receive my PDH certificates? 

Attendees will complete an evaluation for each session they watch in the Virtual Summit platform. The attendee will receive an email that included the session certificate within 24 hours. A downloadable version of the session certificate will also be available in the Account area of the platform.

Will they automatically be credited to my NCSEA account, or will I need to self-report? 

Each attendee is responsible for submitting their PDH to their state boards. NCSEA will not submit them on the attendee’s behalf.  

Can I share this content with my team? 

Summit registration provides access to the virtual event for an individual attendee only. Only the registered attendee will be eligible to receive continuing education hours.



Trade Show & Networking FAQ


How do I visit exhibitors? 

The Exhibit Hall is open through Nov. 24 for full Summit registrants. Each exhibitor has information in their booth, including files for download and opportunities to connect with exhibiting companies through contact buttons. 

How does the Exhibit Hall prize program work? 

Visiting just 10 booths during each of the six prize periods will enter you into the raffle for prizes! The schedule and list of raffle prizes can be found here. 

What are the Interactive Lounges, and how are they accessed? 

The Interactive Lounges are scheduled for Nov. 4-6 and will be open for thrilling peer-to-peer networking. Join us for guided discussions on a variety of topics, and other chances for you to connect with fellow attendees. Links to join can be found in the Lounge area of the Summit. 




General FAQ

In what time zone will the Summit take place?

The Virtual Summit will be held in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). However, when you are on the Summit virtual platform, it will show the start times in your local time zone.  

Do I need to dress a specific way?

Nope! Maybe just throw on your favorite Zoom shirt. None of the attendees will be on camera, with the exception of the Interactive Lounges, and being on-camera is optional.

What is your refund policy?

NCSEA's worry-free registration refund policy ran through 10/16/2020. After that date, attendees will receive a credit to apply to the 2021 NCSEA Summit or towards NCSEA Continuing Education products.
