how to avoid and minimize as-cast surface finish defects and
conflicts within ACI 301 and the contract documents.

Kim Basham Bio
Kim Basham, PhD, PE is a professional engineer and president of KB Engineering,
LLC located in Cheyenne, WY. He specializes in concrete design and construction,
repairs, concrete technology, troubleshooting concrete and materials, non-destructive
testing, forensic engineering and concrete research. Kim routinely teaches
seminars for the American Concrete Institute, World of Concrete, American
Society of Concrete Contractors and the Wyoming Contractor’s Association.
He is also a contributing writer for Concrete Contractor magazine.
