Speakers:

Daniel Veen, PhD, is a Senior Product Manager, Offshore, responsible for defining and executing the product development and market strategy for MOSES at Bentley Systems. Dan joined Bentley in 2013 as a senior developer on the MOSES team, focused on enhancing the core hydrodynamics solver. Since 2019 he has also been responsible for the development of MOSES Wind Turbine, an integrated solution leveraging the capabilities of MOSES and SACS for the design and analysis of floating wind turbines.

Bitna Seo is a Senior Subject Matter Expert, Offshore Products, is an experienced offshore engineering expert with over a decade of expertise since 2011. Joining Bentley Systems in 2016 after contributing to Ultramarine, he specializes in advanced numerical simulations, adeptly connecting academic theory with practical engineering solutions. Bitna holds a B.S. from Seoul National University of Science and Technology and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His extensive expertise covers the full offshore engineering lifecycle, from pre-service installation analysis to in-place and accidental case analysis during operations, delivering deep technical insight and practical solutions.
