We are pleased to announce that Arizona Bill HB2253 was approved by state legislators and signed into law by Gov. Katie Hobbs on June 18. This means the Arizona Board of Technical Registration (BTR) will continue to operate. The BTR’s ongoing existence ensures the regulation and licensure of structural engineering and other professions in Arizona, safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of Arizona citizens. This approval provides stability and clarity for all licensed professionals in the state, maintaining high standards and protecting public interests.
