The State of the Art in Existing Masonry Structural Testing

April 6, 2021 | Tue 12:00 America/Chicago

Duration: 1.5 Hours

CE Credits: 1.5

Whether adding stories to an existing structure or removing walls to open up interior space, structural engineers are often asked to modify loads to existing masonry walls. It can be disconcerting to analyze the effects of these loads if the masonry properties are not available. Fortunately, there are many tools available for the evaluation of existing masonry and existing masonry distress. This webinar will discuss the latest and greatest in both destructive and nondestructive methods for existing masonry structural evaluation.

  • Course will award 1.5 hours of continuing education
  • This course is Diamond Review approved in 49 states. New York does not accept hours from recordings.
